Memory Care, conveniently located within the Health Care Center, offers a secure environment for those persons with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
These residents may suffer from impaired memory, thinking and reasoning, judgment, and other behavior changes.
Our trained staff provides care, support, and companionship. Activities are tailored for individuals with dementia. With all private rooms, Memory Care encourages privacy, dignity, and the highest level of independence possible. With an enclosed and secure walking courtyard, residents are able to go outside independently while maintaining their safety.

Sometimes people have a job just for the money, but I really like working at Schowalter Villa in the housekeeping department. I find Schowalter Villa a good place to work because it feels like my family. Everyone is so friendly and they smile and speak to me. I really enjoy the interaction with the residents and I like their humor, plus they are so happy and appreciative of the things that I do for them. I also enjoy the hugs that they share with me.”
