Dynamic, Vibrant, Active, Intergenerational
At Schowalter Villa, we believe quality of life and quality of care should come from a wide network of relationships and opportunities. At any given time, you will find members of our community enjoying:
- daily visits from children in the attached Hesston Intergenerational Child Development Center,
- visits, table games or interviews with college students who have walked across the Hesston College soccer field to spend with them
- lunch at Water's Edge, our onsite restaurant (open to the public);
- yoga, water aerobics or a good aerobic workout on a treadmill or elliptical
- the indoor walking path in our Wellness Center building, that offers a rotating art gallery on one wall along the "path"
- completing a project in the woodworking shop
- enjoying a game of pool
- a walk around the lake or through the Dyck Arboretum
- music programs, Osher Lifelong learning classes, worship services
- watercolor or pottery classes
